Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) offers Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP) – TICA Scholarship, a fully funded opportunity designed for international students heading to Thailand. The award covers tIPP is structured as a fully funded package rather than a single cash amount: TICA pays the awardee's tuition in full to the host university, provides a recurring monthly stipend for living costs, and adds a separate monthly housing allowance that is set at a higher rate for scholars placed in Bangkok and Phuket than for those in other provinces. On top of these recurring payments, TICA covers a return economy-class ticket to and from Thailand, arranges health insurance for the study period, and gives a one-time settling-in allowance plus an annual allowance for books and, where the course requires it, compulsory fieldwork. and is open to master's (plus one diploma course) students studying sustainable development and science, agriculture and food security, climate resilience, health and wellness, trade and economy, inclusive development. The scholarship runs for 1 to 2 years depending on the course, with most master's courses running 2 years. Eligibility is generally based on because TIPP is a government-to-government cooperation programme, eligibility depends first on the applicant's country being on TICA's published list of eligible countries/territories and second on securing an official nomination, so a strong candidate who is not nominated through their government's focal point cannot apply directly. Applicants apply to one of the roughly 22 specific Master's courses on offer, each hosted by a designated Thai partner university, rather than to a general pool. The application deadline is February 23, 2026 (complete hard-copy application submitted via the applicant's Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate).
